I would have never realised the strengths I am blessed with and to live happily until I got sick and bed arrested with chicken pox virus recently. To tell you I never had any serious health concerns before to this. It was miserable days with no family members around to take care and console me as I was thousands of miles away from my parents and well wishers. Chicken pox at adult age is very difficult to withstand and recover.. Keeping this on one side, I some times used to be curse on my fate remembering failures in life like not making out of getting a seat in IIT's or missing a beloved one. I had a feeling why it was me all the time with no luck and people with less hardwork or those who I feel does not deserve pass thru it... Those 3 weeks of rest at home made me to recollect memories of life from child hood to recent life of what I achevied and what I failed. Overall, I had seen more than 50 percent success in my life. But still I used to live in a feeling of unhappiness about what I missed rather than enjoying and be proud of what I acheived. The sick days has really made me to remember what god has gifted to me, the good Health. I realised the value of great saying in telugu, "aarogeymey maha bagayam". From that day on, I am happy with no regrets to any thing that does not work out in my favour. I live in the feeling of If I lost something it is for a good reason.

Sateesh, I am wondering how did you get chicken pox in UK??
Regarding negative perception.....I can tell you from my experiences that.....nothing is negative.....everything that happens is for our betterment......it is just that we realize it later......
Hey satz,
Good that you realized the importance of health man..and very gud that u actually wrote a blog on it --appreciated.
The synonym of life is health..
That is wonderful...
your insights now I observed in you are a result of consistent improvisation!!!!
And u said it rite!!! happiness lies in finding happy/good things in our lives than thinking about other ones!!
